DRUSCH, Herman Death claimed Herman Drusch, formerly a resident of Brown county, at Fairfax Monday of last week. He had only returned from the Woodman Sanatorium at Colorado Springs, Colo., the morning of his death. Deceased was born in Germany, April 6th, 1866, and was 49 years, ten months and one day old. When but a lad of, seven years he came to this country with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Drusch, settling in Milford township, Brown Co. Here they resided for seven years after which they resided near New Ulm for nine years. On January 28th, 1896 he was united in marriage to Miss Carrie Vogt at Fairfax and they have resided there ever since. Besides the wife, four children are left as follows: Margaret, William, Leona and Imanuel. One brother and three sisters survive, Albert, Wales, N.  D.; Mrs. John Weibel, Cairo; Mrs. Ben Mayer, Gibbon and Mrs. Fred Schroeder, Fairfax. His father passed away in 1896 and his mother in 1897. Services were held at the Fairfax German Lutheran church Thursday afternoon and interment was made at the village cemetery. Rev. Immanuel F. Albrecht officiated. New Ulm Review February 16, 1916

ZIEGLER, Joseph -----Monday evening Joseph Ziegler of near Fairfax passed away at the Loretto hospital in this city. He had fallen from a wagon several months ago and severely hurt his back. He was troubled with pain ever since then for the last nine weeks was confined to his bed.

He was born near Fairfax and was only twenty five years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Teresa Ziegler, of near Fairfax and the following sisters and brothers: Frank, Fairfax: Anton New Ulm: Anna and Mary at home and Mrs. Kathrine Gluisner, New Ulm.

Funeral services will be held Friday in the Catholic church of Fairfax and interment will be made there. New Elm Review December 25, 1918
