JENSEN
– BORNHOFT
Information leaked out
the last few days that Jens C. Jensen one of
Askov’s popular businessmen was to become a
benedict and his many friends are all glad to hear
of the happy event. Mr. Jensen drove to
Minneapolis in his car Tuesday and was married in
that city yesterday to Miss Karen Bornhoft of
Tyler. After a couple of weeks honeymoon trip in
the car, visiting relatives in the southern part
of this state and in Iowa Mr. and Mrs. Jensen will
come to Askov and live in the Jim P. Miller
residence just north of town. The groom is known
to practically everyone in this community. being
one of the proprietors of the Askov Drug and
Variety Store in which business he has been
engaged several years. The bride is known to a
number of folks here who were former residents at
Tyler—her childhood home and where she grew to
womanhood. Of past years Miss Bornhoft has been a
nurse and was engaged in that capacity at the
Tyler hospital. The American joins with friends of
Mr. and Mrs. Jensen in wishing them happiness and
prosperity. Askov
